Manuel Antonio, Costa Rica

Until a few years ago, I had never heard of Manuel Antonio, Costa Rica. I had been to Costa Rica just once before in the Guanacaste region but, other than the areas I explored, I knew very little about Costa Rica’s vast diversity in landscapes, climates, and wildlife. In fact, unless you’ve been there yourself or done a lot of research on the beautiful country, you probably don’t know much about each of Costa Rica’s regions either! But let me tell you, Manuel Antonio is truly a paradise full of lush forests, soft beaches, and wildlife.

Manuel Antonio is one of the most accessible place in Costa Rica with vast animal diversity as it is home to more than 350 bird species, 100+ species of mammals, and countless reptiles! All of this diversity is packed into a relatively small space which means that when you visit the area, you are almost guaranteed to see dozens of animals—including White-faced Capuchin Monkeys, Squirrel Monkeys, Sloths, and the stunning Scarlet Macaws and Toucans. Here’s just a sliver of what I’ve seen in my trips to Manuel Antonio:

Witnessing these animals in person is something that I am incredibly grateful for and aim to share these experiences with as many people as possible.

For me, I took the leap two years ago and booked a yoga retreat to a place I knew almost nothing about except for the fact that it was in Costa Rica and it could not have turned out better. And ever since then, I have been so passionate to share the beauty of Costa Rica and its wildlife, particularly in the Manuel Antonio area. Now I am hosting a yoga retreat close to the Manuel Antonio area which will allow participants to view and experience the same beauty that I have. If your curious about Costa Rica and what a yoga retreat in Costa Rica might be like—let me know or check out my retreat here and start your journey towards the greatness of Costa Rica.
